We have two experienced Authorised Examiners [AE ) Andy
Pearcey and Richard Avenell. Testers are subject to rigorous testing annually, which are overseen by the Ministry
of Transport [MOT] this ensures consistency of testing and adherence to current standards and legislation.
In recent years VOSA [Vehicle Operator Services Agency] have
introduced a National computorised MOT system. We were added to that system in December 2005 and went 'live' on the
16th of that month and since then all our MOTs have been done using this system.
Computorisation of MOTs provides a safeguard for customers as the vehicle details, once in the system remain there
and are easily accessed, protecting against theft or fraud of MOT certificates. This also allows a check of MOT status for
your vehicle and any you may wish to buy.
The Ministry of Transport, the D.V.L.A. and the M.I.D. (Motor insurers) databases are linked together to enable on-line
services to the public such as Road Fund Licences (tax discs) and SORN notices.
